Monday 31st May 2004 - THE DAY
BEFORE MY OPERATION.
Packed my bag with the required two pairs of pyjamas,
dressing gown, slippers towel, electric razor and
toiletries. I have got a selection of talking books
which should keep me occupied whilst in.
I don’t know how I am feeling - really mixture
of dread and wanting it to be over with. My son
Sam called this morning, as did my eldest Anthony.
My brother Peter is coming to stay with me tonight.
My sister Louise is taking me in for 7:30 am tomorrow.
My op is at 9:00am I think. Anthony says he is going
to stay at the hospital until I come round from
my op. I chatted to Mike and Vicki on IM and they
both wished me all the best for tomorrow; I think
Mike said he may visit me whilst I’m in hospital.
There will now be a gap until I am fit to continue
with this diary. So I will say a temp bye, to those
who are following it, until I come out of hospital.
