Thursday 27th May 2004
Got up at 4:45am as I couldn't sleep any
longer. I had a cold sore on my bottom lip in the
centre this morning. Wonder if this is to do with
my cancer or just me being paranoid again. I might
ring Sarah Cost about this. I have my pre-op assessment
tomorrow so may wait until then.
10:00pm: Didn't bother to ring anyone about my cold
sore, it's probably just due to the sun. I went
for a Chinese meal with my youngest son Samuel tonight
and enjoyed myself. My neck is still sore. I am
starting to worry about my operation which is next
Tuesday. The thing I am most worried about is the
anaesthetic as when I had my tonsil out and biopsy,
I did not have a good experience. I seemed to have
had the mask on for several minutes before I lost
consciousness.
