Tuesday 15th June 2004
Spent a few hours at home again; my sister dropped
me off and picked me up later. A social worker from
Burnley came to visit me; her name is Helen Rothwell.
This lady is a star in my book. She is going to
arrange for home help, and also get someone to call
and assess me for aids. She filled out an invalidity
claim form for me. She is coming on Friday to give
me details of what she has arranged.
I must say at this point that I am very grateful
to everyone I have come across for helping me during
this illness. They have all been so kind and understanding.
