chest and made a flap over his esophogas and then did a skin graph over his fistula in his neck. This was suppose to help the constant oozing of fluid from the fistula and help him eat again. Hi Patti, Jerry has been on the feeding tube by stomach since January. He had another surger on Thursday to see if they could close this fistula by taking a skin graft from his leg. We will not know if it worked until it heals. He was talking with his electronic device until the fistula took over...

Jerry had a larygectomy in december due to throat cancer. He was a very vocal person before all of this. He did go to the Dr again today, they put a plug in the fistula that was coming out of his neck. This will help him not having to suction out the stuff that has been coming out of this fistula...
