A variety show in aid of head and neck cancer is being arranged by a jaw cancer survivor, Ken. Ken was treated at Southmead Hospital and any money raised will be used to buy the head and neck cancer dept things that they need. This particular fundraising event is for mobile ventilators for those who need one. Ken says it is a 1940s variety show featuring a comedian, amagician, duo, and a ventriloquist at BAWA club, Southmead on Thursday 30th October 2008 at 7.30pm. Raising awareness and/or improves support for patients is important and events like Ken's should be supported. Members in the Southmead area interested in supporting this even can get tickets by calling tel:0117 3304968 (Ken) or 0794 9522910 (Ruth). Tickets: £7.50 adult, £7.00 concession and £1 per ticket to head and neck cancer patients.
