Not to be out-done, it's 1 year since I had my operation and began the radiation therapy. So far so good - and hope it stays that way Yes

Good luck everybody

Nice one Pete - It's 2 years to the month (Oct 2nd)since my surgery.- The RT finished at Christmas that year.
It's a really nice feeling - having a future with my family - it's ALL that matters.

Not forgetting Garance and Russ W - Best wishes to you both. Let's keep counting on the years for a long time to come!

Good luck to us all

I too have just had my 1 year milestone; it's been quite an eventful time; I hope everyone can feel the way I feel today for many days to come! Well done to folks.

Hello all

Congratulations on each milestone, small or big. I know that every step has been an arduous one for you.

I hope you will be able to join us each year in the Mouth Cancer walk which not only is about increasing mouth cancer awareness and about supoort needs of patients and carers but also a celebration for those who have struggled and survived.

Best wishes
Vinod ( will be walking for you all too tomorrow, so do pray for good weather Cool )

Great news on these milestones. Paul! Lovely to see your name. I have been out of action sort of since Feb.2005 and gradually taking up reins of things again. It's amazing what you can say with an electric larynx. But it can't be guafanteed not to frighten the horses!
My dog Sally is completely used to it now and made my three minute egg this morning, cut across not tapped.
Being able to eat a boiled egg without mashing it up is a minor miracle, believe me!
