Hello all,
This evening we have been decorating the christmas tree with our children, just listening to them argue over who's turn it is to put the fairy on the top of the tree. Looking back six months ago our lives were turned upside down when martyn was diagnosed with cancer of the Larynx at the age of 41.After having a Laryngectomee 6 months ago and having over come a number of fistulas we are now looking forward to christmas and a new year.Just wanted to thank everyone who has supported me and martyn overthe last 6 months.I have cried many tears of sadness and frustration but tonight watching them it was tears of joy and happiness. |

Hello Juliee--how great that Martin and you have the worst part over. Have a brilliant time. and I hope that Martyn enjoys the Christmas tastes. And some of these amazing new ice-creams. I had the tiramisu CartedOr/ Heaven! After 18 months I still can't eat turkey but love the trimmings and masses of real gravy. And it is uphill all the way now. When everybody said it was a slow process, the healing, mentally and physically, I didn't really appreciate how right they were. My grandchildrdn don't evne notice my EL now they understand it so well.
Have a happy time. Ishbel |
