Hello to all
I am now just over 4years since my last surgery and my check ups are now once every six months. I am now looking seriously at jaw reconstruction as i have had almost all of my lower jaw taken because of my cancer as well as my tongue and voice box so the reconstruction is only cosmetic. The reason i want to get this surgery is i am sick of people staring at me and making comments and pointing me out to others also some teenagers have made fun of my appearance which got me rather angry at the time but after i had cooled down i realized they had just shown their lack of intelligence and manners. I don't know how some of you feel about attending funerals for others who have passed from cancer as i have lost 4 friends from cancer since i was diagnosed and i feel guilty going to their funerals knowing that i have survived and they haven't, i feel strange seeing their families and knowing they are thinking why did he survive and not my family member.
