Hi gang. At 11.20 today( 17th ) i will be going to See Mr Edge at Darlington Memorial Hospital for my 5 year check up. Theses 5 years have gone so quickly. Were does the time go. Last time i was there they told me i had an option of waving goodbye to them or stay on for two more years. After thinking about it i will stay on for two more years. How are you all? Im still thinking of you all.

Hello Russ
Well it's a bit early in the morning there, but today the's day! Congratulations on a wonderful milestone.
You're right about time flying. It seems like just a few months since Trevor and I joined the forum ~ WOW! so much happens, doesn't it? You used to post more often back then. It's great to know you're still there and to see you popping up now and again.
Have a GREAT day!
Love
Deborah

Wow fantastic news,5 years is the major milestone and must feel brilliant. I've just had my 2 year free result and I felt great. Still a way to go yet until I reach your magic number but its an inspiration to hear of success stories.

Hi Russ

You're just a few months ahead of me--I'll be hitting 5 years in February. It's great to hear success stories. Thanks for the inspiration.

Mr. Edge is a great bloke - in every sense of the word great. He did my op 5 years ago too on 1st March. I remember it well. Sad to say but I 've not been quite as lucky as you as on my 5 year anniversary I was told it had come back. D'Oh!
Good luck to you though and all the very best! I hope you never have it return and can live as a symbol for the rest of us!

Well done Russ. It's good to have some inspiration. Sorry to hear about Antony's situation and hope it's treatable.
