Well I am now nearly 1 year post treatment, I will hopefully on wednesday this week be signed off from my monthly appts/checkups and start 2 monthly checks for my second year.
But doesn't life throw you some challenges. I have now been diagnosed as diabetic, Great and I also have an eye condition called Lymphangioma of which my brain MRI was clear. For someone who never saw the inside a GP/Dr's surgery, Hospital etc I have been in & out of so many medical establishments over the last year its unbelivable. Everyone at work thinks I'm part-time Hope everyone else out there is keeping well, I don't post very often but always log in everyday to read your notices of support to all others and know how much this does mean to reach out and be heard. |

Hey there Smiler...
Good to see a post from you again. A "medical mystery" you most certainly are... a SURVIVOR in every sense of the word! Congratulations upon reaching the one-year milestone. I wish you many, many, many (decades upon decades) more cancer-free years to come!!! When you are at least 90 years old, the "Smiler" shall still be a-smiling and posting notes on this fine website of ours! FMH, Melanie |
