Well I am now nearly 1 year post treatment, I will hopefully on wednesday this week be signed off from my monthly appts/checkups and start 2 monthly checks for my second year.

But doesn't life throw you some challenges.

I have now been diagnosed as diabetic, Great and I also have an eye condition called Lymphangioma of which my brain MRI was clear.

For someone who never saw the inside a GP/Dr's surgery, Hospital etc I have been in & out of so many medical establishments over the last year its unbelivable. Everyone at work thinks I'm part-time , but luckily they see it as a joke and have decided I am a medical mystery, and I am always the subject of many conversations and jokes of late.

Hope everyone else out there is keeping well, I don't post very often but always log in everyday to read your notices of support to all others and know how much this does mean to reach out and be heard.

Good to see a post from you again. A "medical mystery" you most certainly are... a SURVIVOR in every sense of the word! Congratulations upon reaching the one-year milestone. I wish you many, many, many (decades upon decades) more cancer-free years to come!!! When you are at least 90 years old, the "Smiler" shall still be a-smiling and posting notes on this fine website of ours!
