I hope you dint ind me asking you here. I have had a sore spot on the side of my tongue for over a year. I mentioned it to my dentist in January, who referred me to the hospital.
I got mu appointment to see the consultant in april who decided I needed a biopsy.
I didnt get my biopsy appointment till july. (I had it yesterday- blooning heck didnt expect it to be quite so sore!) I have to go back in 3 weeks for my results. I am 36 years old ex smoker ( gave up 10 years ago) It seems many posters got their appointments quickly if a cancer was suspected. So is it a good sign that they havent rushed my biospy appiontments ect. I am trying not to worry but its not easy !

hi beanbag

you're right its hard not to worry, but you must try and its really wasted energy trying to second guess what is happening. They have been pretty slow about it all so there may be something in that. Try and rest assured that you have done the right thing up to now in getting that biopsy, good luck and keep us informed!

Hi beanbag. Have you had the results of your biopsy yet? If so, I hope it was good news for you. Have been thinking of you.
Wishing you all the best.
