My second anniversary was on April 4th but I've been so busy and so overjoyed with this beautiful spring that I spaced it out! A comparatively mild recovery followed by strange random side effects, and finally the ability to forget for a few days that it ever happened. I'd say that's the most a girl can ask for.

Thanks to everyone for the advice and encouragement. I remember how frightened I was when I first arrived here and how I appreciated every response to whatever dumb question I asked. When I realized I'd forgotten my anniversary date I also realized that I'm not checking in often enough to encourage newbies as so many of you encouraged me.

My not-so-secret crushes are on John Spencer and Haag; my gal-pals are Deb51, Cookey, Bell, Julia and Sharifeh; my heart goes out to Pam and the mysterious Anthony Gears; respect to Dr. Joshi.

Thank you so very much.

Mimi

Hi Mimi

In the words of that great sage, H. J. Simpson, WOO HOO!

Your anniversary was on Easter. Coincidence? I think not.

I'm having difficulty typing this message because my rather massive cat, Mr Pib, is using the keyboard as a pillow.

Hi Mimi

Congratulations!! ,what an excellent date to realize you have had a 2nd anniversary and the fact that you nearly forgot is even better news to hear .

Like Charly I am sorry I haven't been around either but the forum is always in my thoughts and also the memebers I have gotten to know who became friends and a wonderful support system offering advice and tips through the difficult times and the good times .

I do hope you managed to organize a good night out to celebrate.I suspect there are a few of us old troupers who have fallen by way side for a number of reasons and just need to take time out to sometimes just make sense of life .

I am delighted to read you forgot your anniversary because you were simply appreciating life and actually forgetting the difficult times you have been through, you most certainly deserve it Mimi. Fab news .

Bell x

Dr. Joshi - thanks for the clip. It's on my FB wall.

Ah, John. The pain of unrequited love....The fortunate Mrs. Spencer knows when to hang on to a good thing, but I'd still hide the knives. I do have some friends that meet your requirements (nympho, vineyards and yacht); take your pick.

Do you mind that she smokes?

Prepared for the UK climate

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Mimi

Good Morning Mimi,
Whilst I was trying to cut thin slices of bread with a fork I was pondering on the quality of your advice. Hiding the knives seemed a good idea .....at first. Now I am wondering about the possible consequences of meeting your friends.
Keep Smiling
John

Ha ha ha! What fun and frivolity I've missed over the last few weeks.
Congratulations on a wonderful milestone and memory lapse, Mimi ~ beaut news. You'll be giving Hagg a run for his money next thing!
How lovely to hear from you Bell. I think of you often and hope you're doing OK.
Life's a little unsettling at the moment as, try as I might not to, my mind keeps saying 'this time last year ......' Where does the time fly to?
John, you're very lucky Pat is such a nice lady ....... With a bit of commitment and drive, a well placed fork can leave a nasty, nasty wound!
Take care all ~ great to see the oldies coming out for an airing.
Love to all
Deborah
