My brother's story

My brother was diagnosed with cancer a few monhs ago. We have never had someone in our family to have any kind of serious disease and this news took us by surprise. Being a rare cancer it was difficult to find a specialized hospital with much research done on it. My brother's health quickly began deteriorating and he became bed confined. Luckily we found a doctor in Boston, MA that had some experience with his cancer. We used an air ambulance service called Air Ambulance 1 to get him there since it was very far away. The doctor there was able to offer treatment that put his cancer into remission. I am so grateful that we overcame our fears and fought this cancer head on.

Hello gigi67

I am sorry to hear about your brother and it is good to know that he is doing well. I am however curious to know why he had to travel to a doctor in Boston 'with some experience'. Most people in UK would use the NHS service which is free and available locally at the various cancer centres in the country; there are very good head and neck cancer oncologists and surgeons in London itself. Why do you feel necessary to name the air ambulance service you used?

Best wishes

Hi Dr Joshi

We've been getting quite a few postmercials (adverts extremely thinly disguised as postings) lately. In the words of the illustrious Mimi, "don't feed the trolls."
