It's been too long since I posted a message on this site but life seems to have taken off after a very lengthy period of recovery and overcoming depression. This site though.....helped me through some of my darkest days.
I have just relaunched my website after a long closure and if you copy and paste the following link I have a page dedicated to my fight with Cancer. As always, it's interesting to know how other people have coped with their illness and what they have done with their lives since coming through their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery....those of us who made it through that is:

Steve, thanks for posting and once i started reading your cancer story on your website.

couldn't stop until i finished it. you went through some of the toughest of times and still came out on top.

my journey, although no fun, one could label it easy as compared to yours.

i really have to admire you for making it through.

please make sure you check in more often and let us know how you are doing.

later, pete

Hi Steve and Pete and long may the remission continue. I'm sure many people will relate to your webpage on coping with cancer.

I was interested in your comment about life now taking off. I was thinking how life really does sometimes go in cycles. I feel I have just been through a 7 year cycle of some considerable testing and yet also of achievement. Life really has its ups and downs.

Thanks guys. All that suffering seems so long ago now and I can't picture myself having gone through it but I did.....somehow.
Pauline. Youv'e been on this site for some time now and i'm guessing all is ok with you. I should sign on more often really, and thanks for your comment Pete though I really think it was simply my human instinct to win over my Cancer that saw me through it in the end.
I wish you both well till next time
Steve

Well done for getting through that lot Steve. It's definately a hell of a journey but the human instinct to survive does help a lot, as you said. Good luck for the future. Hagg.

At last, 11 YEARS and still kicking it.
