My husband was just diagnosed with squamus cell carcinoma on the lower part of his tongue, stage 4, it has spread only to his lymph node and not any where else. He will begin radiation and chemo sysplatin next week. Does he have any chance at all to beat this?

Hi Linda
My husband HAD locally advanced squamous cell cancer of the Larynx. He went through the chemo and radiation then they removed his voice box. He is out there right now working on our new house in this Texas weather. It is a long road towards recovery he is having to have surgery again this coming Thursday from problems from his neck not healing right from the radiation. But they say the cancer is gone. And the Dr is saying he should be eating steak by his birthday in October Terry Terry |
