Hello, I'm Laura-Jane, a student hygienist at Glasgow Dental Hospital. For my Elective Study I would like to carry out an investigation into the awareness and management of oral cancer patients amongst pharmacists. I would imagine that a large proportion of the general public present with oral lesions at pharmacies. Although I'm only at a very early age of my study, I would like to find out things like the training of pharmacists in recognizing or suspecting an oral cancer lesion, the awareness of any protocol to be followed, the type of advice given etc. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
