Hi John,

It is good to hear from you again and to learn that up until now you have been under the care of Simcock and Weighill. They have also been treating my other half with seeming success so far and I do think they are wonderful, even though they never manage to quite live up to my probably unrealistic expectations! They certainly have been very patient with me so far. (Chaz has been under a Weighill supervised knife twice, but resisted the neck dissection option when he had a clear scan after treatment).

I think you have made a very wise decision to go to the Marsden for the reasons you mention and I am pleased that you were able to take up the IMRT option. I can imagine that you are facing coming weeks with much trepidation, but many of the amazing posters here are evidence that it is very possible to do.

Wishing you all the best and hope you keep in contact and tell us how you are doing.

Warmly,

Cathy

It will be a toughie John but i believe that you have the strength to face it head on and deal with what is thrown at you .There are some fantastic people on this forum that have not only helped Nigel but have continued to help me with knowledge, advice and warm wishes when i have needed them . I will be thinking of you.
