Had the first op on Monday,
Lesions taken of both larynx
shaved down vocal cords
biopsy on white patch on right larynx

Not allowed to speak for 3 days......No problem not speaking but started coughing yesterday and have not stopped, so sore, no idea if this is causing any damage cannot imagine this is helping the healing process though,
Back to the consultant 25th.

Hi Margret,

Hope you have a good night's sleep. If you're still coughing tomorrow(Friday), might be a good idea to call your consultant to ask if there's anything to alleviate the cough. It can't be doing you any good and there are cough suppressants that might be of help.
