
| Hi Lynne wow thats a lot you have had to go through on your own.I think after so much major surgery you really musn't expect too much.7 months is no time in Oral Cancer land.The treatment is barbaric and the recovery long and littered with pitfalls along the way.Have you tried getting in touch with Macmillan Support?They have groups and support workers and social support .It is essential for you to have someone who can help with company and doing all the exercises and speech training i know you need to do .This is a great site for support but i think you maybe need something a bit more tangible.so ....welcome

| Hi Lynne, Liz is right, MacMillan are amazing. My wife and I felt totally isolated and numb until I was given a MacMillan nurse. She's now one of my most trusted friends. Welcome to the forum. Hagg.
