Hi well after having 2 sets of antibiotics i was refererred to ENT. There i had nasendoscope which shown my voicebox as red and inflammed. ( I also have ulcer looking spots where my tonsils would of been ,also spots on my tounge and a few red and white spots in my inner cheeks) My voice has not been right in 6 weeks which i am finding it hard not talking due too the fact i love gassing Smiler
anyway long and short of it is the ENT specialist has giving me Tylex and Zorton he is hoping its a reflux thing going on
He has made me an appointment to go back in 4 weeks but as asked me too ring his sectectary in 2 weeks if im still the same
I have kept on peeking at this site and thought
it might be silly of me to post as im unsure as to what i have I know im too have a GA so he can look around properly soon
But my reason for posting is and it may sound bizarre but my teeth seem to be catching my inner cheeks this morning like they have swollen up over night so im a little worried as too what too do , my voice has also completely gone again
ao im back to silent whispering i just wondered basically if anyone has had this before i feel like a hamster although its not noticable from outside
anyway a little about me im married with lovely children im a care worker and i waffle alot sorry about that
anyway would love too hear any advice regards croaky

Hello croaky

I doubt your 'fat' cheeks are related to your sore throat. More likely that you have tensed during sleep and clenched on your teeth and so pulled your cheeks inwards towards the teeth. Try my 'splint of air' technique to help stop this happening and let me know how you get on.

Best wishes
