Hi Trev, and Pamela, Thank you for the tip on the peg. Everyone has been great. I love the support. Andy might be coming home on Wednesday. His trac started bleeding yesterday and that seemed to have slowed things down abit. I am hanging in. I have had enough though and can't wait to hear some good news from the Doc's. Weekend's at the hospital are brutle. Hope everyone is well.

Jilly

Hi Jilly

I hope that you and your husband are doing well. Not only did I have the same surgery as he did, but my flap (which I've named Flappy, now three years old and doing marvelously!) was also born on February 4.

A few months ago I went to a presentation on oral cancers at the hospital where I work, and HPV isn't the only cause of oral cancer (if it were, I'd probably be in the medical record books as the only person who did "such things" in my sleep--but I digress). The speaker listed other risk factors like heavy consumption of alcohol, tobacco use, a diet lacking in fruits and vegetables, family history, and poor oral
hygiene.

Take care.

Julia

Hi Julia,

My husband Andy is doing really well. I am glad to hear that Flappy is doing marvelously! Feb 4 was a tough, horrible day. But I know we are in store for alot more of those. Chemo and radiation start March 17. Julia did you have any of that? Andy hates fruit and vegetables. He is starting to change, I make him eat every kind now!

Take care,

Jilly
