My next of kin has been diagnosed as having jaw cancer after a check up with her dentist as she had mouth ulcers. I need advice please and welcome any information about her upcoming surgery due for 18th december but now put off. She is due to have reconstruction straight after surgery.

Hello Lorna and welcome to this exclusive club admittance only by the 'C' card. My experience is not of cancer of the jaw so can't personally help I am sure there will be one of our number who can but more than anything we are all here to help and support in any way we can.

Do you know what stage the cancer is? and has the surgery been put off because of the holiday or what reason. there is not a good time of year for this to happen but Christmas has got to be the worst.
