Hello, On March 16, 2005, I finished my final (33) radiation treatment for a cancer located at the rear of the tongue. I started weekly chemo treatments around November 21, 2004, and continued them until I finished the radiation treatments. I had a tube inserted in my stomach in February and had it removed last week. After reading some of the posted messages I feel somewhat guilty that I have had a fairly easy time. My taste is back and I eat anything I want. I do have some difficulty swallowing but nothing I can't handle. I am still generating plenty of phlegm. Ever since I was scoped a couple of weeks ago, my throat has been sore. I'm told this is normal and time will take care of it. If there are any specific questions, I will try to get out an answer. Roland | |||
