Hi my name is Mo I live in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. I found out 2 weeks ago that i have cancer in the mouth and i guess it has only really just hit me! typical female LOL I live on my own and i am scared (first time i have said that) I have a daughter and grand daughter who live a few miles from me and an angel i feel with me all the time (that might sound daft) i am not religious but there are times in the day when i feel really warm for no reason? so i am putting that down to an angle :-)

I really dont know what else to say other than hi, thanks for reading xx

Mo

Hello there Mo,

Would like to say nice to have you on board but have to say sorry to have you on board but welcome anyway.

I second what Michelle says and when do your treatments start.

We all understand 'frightened' and here is the right place to be for a virtual hand hold.

Don't know about the angel thing though, I put my warm glows down to my age!!

Hello Mo
Welcome, welcome from another newcomer.
I'm glad you have said you're scared. That gets that out of the way and allows you then to let out lots of other things that are best shared with others. This is just the place to do that.
I appreciate what you say about the angel however I'm with Angie ~ if only those 'glows' were warm and not red hot!!!!
Keep smiling and keep on posting
Cheers
Deborah

hi thanks for all your kind comments, i am having my biopsy next friday. so wont know what course of treatment yet. I have given up looking in my mouth it gets worse LOL It's all happend fast really, through a dental rountine checkup, then the hospital.

So i am gratfull to the dentist and i'm not if you know what i mean! But looking back it all makes sence the pain and feeling in genral not good.

Th e good thing is i dont stay down for long, i am positive about this and will stay that way. I had a few dark day a few days ago and it was my boss that found this forum, bless him.

I am a Animal Reiki healer and also communicate with them, i have a lot of friends around me but these past few weeks have been awfull, the look in their eyes is more painful than what i am going through. I got angry with one friend and shouted why have you given up i havent! she wasnt expecting that from me, as i am 99% time very calm and together.

The flushes ladies i am not near that stage yet lol went for the test a while back, noticed some changes with my body and thought it was that!! but it wasnt, it was this i believe i was feeling, strange. your all probubaly thinking i am a nut case LOL i am but in a nice way. thanks for reading this it has given me the courage to come back, for all the friends i have i know that you people know exactally where i am at, and where i am coming from xx

Good Luck with everything, will be thinking of you on Friday. Your daughter and granddaughter will be good company for you when you need those hugs. I don't doubt you have an angel by your side, they will usually touch your hair gently as well, so I'm led to believe. The warm feeling is a bit of both he he, hot flush and angel.
Take care, Tracey
