Darren here from near Leeds again.

My father's cancer came back in his throat/mouth - see earlier posts.

Well they said nothing they could do to take it away as he has had brachytherapy and maxilliofacial surgery before, so I guess a matter of time ?

He has since had several solid days of chemo at Cookridge and short blasts both sides of his face of radio for 10 days.

He has recovered well from the effects of all this treatment now, but the doctors have said months rather than years.

Quite devastating to be told this really, but I guess we all have a timespan on earth don't we ? They didn't scan him on his fist check which I kinda thought they would to check the progress or whether it had developed ? It did move into his jaw bone they said previously.

He is on monthly checks now - so who knows ? if anyone can shed any light on the above, please drop me a line.
