Hello there, I am new. I have not been diagnosed yet, but I have a feeling it is coming. I have already dealt and am in remission from a rare spinal cancer. In August a little lump showed up right under my adam's apple. I thought maybe a bug bite. It's NOT...a bug bite. I have had the answer I dunno...umm I'm sorry but because of my history "i Dunno" it not satisfactory. I have feelings of my throat being full.pressure on ears, hoarseness raspy. keep getting soar throat. Have been heavy smoker, used to drink alot, no more drinking now, alot less smoking...I see my doc again this week and am going to insist he send me to an ent.Because of my age I think i have been sort of overlooked, i am 31, it bothered me a little that he did not look down my throat...sigh. I hope it is nothing... I really do... but I want the lump gone...for peace of mind. I am usually a very positive gal, but I am becoming preoccupied with these symptoms as I have never felt anything quite like this. especially the throat feeling full....it is not painul but very bothersome. Anyone else felt this feeling? I know I can't be diagnosed here, just want to talk. Was wondering if any of you had these symptoms?
BoxedinBTW...if it turns out I am freed from my fear, I would still like to remain a member as to be here for anyone who needs a fried. I went through radiaition for my spine, I know it is not the same but...still. Smiler

Hi there and welcome.
I hope it is nothing serious in your throat but in the meantime there's plenty of info and support here. I had SCC in my sinus and jaw in 1997 and had RT and stuff. Didn't have many symptoms and it was a complete shock when I was diagnosed. Hagg.

Thinking THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REPLYING> I had felt like I was going mad for a bit there. Went yesterday and in 10 days they will remove the lump and send it off to pathology. It is a relief to know it will be cut off. The doctors are so nice, we had alot of laughs...that certainly helpsSmiler Even if it turns out to be something malignant, it will be better than that nagging voice in the back of my mind saying"what if this?what if that? blahblahblah." Last night I finally slept through the night. YAY!It feels good to move forward. I think my biggest fear is losing my voice, I had never really thought about that until now. What an intense thing to go through. I hope every last one of you has a terrific day. And that you do one nice thing for a stranger, and 2 nice things for yourselfWink
