The surgical assistant called me a few days ago to see how I was recovering. Just as soon as she was about to get off the phone she told me something had come in the doctor had not yet signed off on, so she opened it and said it was the results, and that everything appeared normal for all 5 sites biopsied. As a result, it was decided for me to come in a little later for my official follow up, to give my tongue tissue a little more time to heal (I woke up bleeding one morning which was NOT fun). I'll be going in Monday to officially collect my results and for post-op.

I'll come back for an update after I see the ENT again next week.

Everything looks normal. We are going to keep an eye on things though because I've had plenty of time to heal and I'm still having a lot of vague pain from the right side of my tongue. It still just doesn't feel right to me, so I may be in for more biopsies. Still, thankful for the results so far.

Congratulations, that's brilliant news!
My advice now would be to get on with your life. Don't waste it away worrying about stuff that might or might not happen. You've done your due dilligence, taken responsibility for your own health, now it's time to move on. I don't know how healthy a lifestyle you already live, but it would be a good time to re-evaluate it, do some research and choose the healthiest options you can find. One thing I'd recommend if you don't already do it is to find out about the benefits of juicing. You might have more confidence in your health if you are proactively promoting a healthy body. Just a suggestion, forgive me if I sound as if I'm preaching, I'm just a big fan of juicing!
Good luck!
Vicky
