| Hi Amy Louise I responded to your other posting, but my advice remains the same. Please get the biopsy done (a brush biopsy sounds less painful than the biopsy I had). I know you're scared, but mouth cancer is nothing to fiddle with. Let us know how things turn out.

| Hi Amy Louise, I agree with Julia. If your dentist thinks he needs to do it then you should have it done. Hagg.

| Hi Amy Louise Before you decide once and for all not to have the biopsy done, talk to your dentist and see what he/she (hate that construction, but these are the days of PC overload) would recommend. Also, ask about the procedure. My biopsy was done with something that looked like tiny salad tongs with SHARP teeth. A brush biopsy doesn't sound that bad--besides, they'll probably numb the area beforehand. Wouldn't you rather find out that it's nothing than to spend a lot of time worrying about whether or not it's cancer. Stress is a killer, too. But, ultimately, the decision is yours and I hope for the best for you, whatever you choose. Julia
