Yes Pikeman WHERE ARE YOU???????????

I just found out about this site. It has been a horrendous year for me. My mother was diagnosed with Tongue Cancer in August. She went through 36 treatments of radiation and we were happy with the end result. THe tumor was gone at the end of September. Unfortunately by the middle of November, we noticed a growth starting in the exact same spot. She just had another biopsy two weeks ago and we are going to find out tomorrow. The growth is huge. Her tongue is being pushed off to the side and she is once again not eating. She is 82 years old and 82 pounds.

We figured we would go with the radiation instead of the surgery, but now, I don't know. The doctors office says this is suspicious for malignancy but they are not sure.

I am happy I found this site, because I have been on the Internet forever looking up everything.

Dephen, well welcome aboard. There are so many of us here that this has happened to. Bless your mother's heart. She has lived a lifetime without this. It is a crying shame that it found her at this time of her life. She is so small too, she can't afford not to eat. Please keep us up to date of her. This diease doesn't care about a thing trust me on this. It will tear open or apart the best of familes..You can talk to us about anything that is what we are here for. My story is on the front page of the site. Please read it maybe there is something that can help you.
