Paul I agree seeing people eat in the street is envy making. I'm still amazed they can eat without fluid even though I too also did once.

We have to totally concentrate on it as an activity and have to have lots of fluid nearby in case of choking.

Hi Pauline, The strange thing is NEVER ate in the Street and NEVER went to Cafe or takeaway joints,A restaurant well that a different thing.Now would give my right arm (there welcome to it usless anyway ) to be able to go in these places eat & chat to people.

Me neither Paul - my mother taught me it was bad manners to eat away from the table and only bad mannered people ate in the street. Now eating on the hoof is so common everywhere. I see others coming out of a chip shops etc and friends pinching their chips without a second thought. I marvel at how they can expel it through the oesophagus without choking with no fluid to drink.
