Hi, everybody. First, may all of you recover soon.
My dad has tongue cancer. He has experienced internal radiotherapy, though the test revealed stage 2. He didnt want to have surgery,as I don't think that he would have been able to cope with deformation in the result of surgery. So, the radiotherapy lasted three days. And it was stopped earlier, than it had been planned, as Dad had got pnuemonia. Then it was a long period of rehabilitation. The treatment was in beginning of this year. Now I want to share with you what he is experiencing right now. He has burning in the place where the tumour had used to be. We don't understand whether it is the beginning of the new process or just the side effect of the radiotherapy. I will look forward to hearing from you and will appreciate any information. On my part, I am ready to provide you with all details I have. I would like to note that this treatment took place in one of the towns of Russia. And it may differ from that existing in Europe or US. I mean, principle is the same, but the conditions may not be as modern and innovative as in Europe or USA. Thank you.

Hello Kim

I remember Baku from my geography ages ago as being on the Caspian Sea. Welcome!

The burning sensation could be a side effect but your father needs to see your oncology specialist to be sure. See my further reply to questions about your father, here.

Best wishes
Vinod :coffee:
