Hello Siloe
I'm very sorry your sister is going through such a tough and awful time and that you are having to watch her suffer.
Unfortunately no-one can tell you what you want to know, not even your sister's doctors. Regardless of her diagnosis, put your energies into making every moment you have with her the very best they can be. Be sure she knows how much you love her.
This time is for and about your sister. Save your tears and worries for when you are not with her. Surround her with love and this will help her to gather her strength or to give her peace. Either way you will be helping both her and yourself to deal with her situation.
It's a tough time when someone is so sick. It's sad and heartbreaking to see them deal with this stuff.
Be strong, Siloe. I wish you and yours well and will be thinking of you and hoping for a happy outcome.
Cheers from Down Under
Deborah

Hi Siloe,

Keep your spirits up and keep going. Your sister has and is going through a really tough experience. No one can predict the outcome but chemo and radiotherapy treatments knock's the hell out of patients and make us very weak. The human body has an amazing capacity to recover and there is always hope.

Best wishes to your sister and yourself

Siloe, I imagine it's difficult to tell the difference from the illness and the side affects of the cancer treatments. My oral cancer came back three times,...and is now being beaten back once again. This seems to be too common (recurrence in oral cancer), but be encouarged as she may well come through.

Best wishes as you support her,

bob

Siloe,

I finished my radiation middle of March and went back to work within a month. Big mistake couple weeks later it hit me hard, my blood count was so low almost had to get a transfusion. It has taken me until now to start feeling normal as far as energy goes.

Like others that have posted previously, I hope that your sisters weak state is simply a result of the horrific treatment she has been through and that she starts to get better soon.

Best wishes

Cathy
