Hello. I have just discovered this wonderful exchange site. I am Susana, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In August 2009 I was diagnosed tonge cancer and I had a chirurgical intervention (one third of my tongle and neck glands extracted), and I am in my first week of recovery. I would like to offer my support to you all, and of course, to ask you for advice and information (my surgeon is a top one, but he does not offer any information at all!).
Greetings

Hi Susana,

Glad you found the site and welcome. Good luck with the recovery and hope all go's well.

I have travelled quite a bit and lived in a few countries. However, one of my aims is to visit Buenos Aires sometime. I will be asking you for advice.

Best regards

Ken

Hi Shoshana

Your op sounds very similar to mine which was very nearly two years ago.

Hope you are staring to feel better. How are you eating - do you have a PEG tube? I did, just for a couple of weeks.

Glad you have found this site - it is an invaluable source of friendship, help and advice.

Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Very best wishes

Gwyn
