Hello all,
Mummy passed away on the 7th of September in the hospital. Its still sinking in but i know for sure she is in a better place because in her last moment she folded her hands in prayer and indicated that she is going to God. So i know she is there guiding our lives and her memories will never fade..
My sister and me are starting a foundation in her name with the key focus on early awareness and dentist visits especially focused to India since awareness is still at its nascent stage.
We hope to make her proud.

I bless every day I still have my mother although I have watched her battle this dreadful illness and wonder ......... well, you know what I wonder because you have been there.

I saw your post for the first time last night ~ don't know how I missed it.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I was very moved by your and your Mum's story. It will be five years at Christmas since I lost my mother and it still seems like yesterday ~ long days and nights sitting with her in hospital. I guess I'm over it now but there is still a very big hole in my life filled with her absence. That being said, she is with me every second of every day and we still (well I do!) talk and her courage inspires me.
Your Mum will always be a part of your life because of what you have shared. Congratulations on your decision to start the foundation with your sister. Best of luck always.
