i don't know where i came across a newsletter (free) which i occassionaly get email from. i thought the short movie was quite good and others who are on this unexpected journey which has brought us together on the fantastic http://rdoc.org.uk website. as i am typing now i see there are 85 other people online. 3 members and 82 guests. something to think about when one logs on to this site.... just a few members might be online, but look at the large number of guests..... lots of people seeking info.... we are not alone.

Thanks so much for putting that link. I had never seen it or heard of it and it is wonderful. Great, uplifting stuff. Everyone really should watch it! I am going to send the link on to others and put it on my facebook account.

Yes - it says it all really. I was embarrassed by my scars for a while - but finally overcame it - I survived. That's it. It's really important people realise it is just part of the journey and not the end of it.
