Value Of Internet Health Advice Questioned - 19-Oct 2004
A University College London study suggests that many people with chronic disease should not rely on the internet for health advice. The study found interactive computer tools do improve medical knowledge, but found no evidence that they change behaviour positively. In fact, some evidence suggested that they left people in worse health.

I agree with the findings that a lot of health information on the net can be misleading and even dangerous in some cases. There are exceptions and this site is certainly one of them.
