Well I'm ALARMED that Maurice has such a BOSSY speech therapist.

She obviously has no idea how hard it is to get regular tea down let alone thickened. Is the woman all there?

Maurice come into the forum so we can chat to you.

Come on now Maurice. You can see that your female fan club here want to speak to you in the forum. I have to say I like the sound of your prepared meals very much. So much so that I am going to call onmy local hospice tomorrow to see if I cold have a meal there a couple of times a week as the endless chore of cutting and blending and re-heating and chucking gets on top of me sometimes and I take the lazty way and just suck on a carton which does my weight no good whatsoever.
Pauline, just a thought. Although the idea of thickened tea fills me with some distaste it is probably only extra powdered milk to add more protein. Not Bisto gravy lol.
One tea idea by the way is to do a very mild Indian tea with a few spices like nutmeg and cinnamon and cardamom in small amounts simmered along with ordinary loose tea for about 10 minutes. For a sensation-starved palate it is quite a boost, although sadly no pasanda to follow!
Regards Ishbel
