HI Geff, Can only the say the same old thing mate been there done that.
DO NOT worry at this stage I had 4 biopsies last year as they thought the Cancer had come back .
It usually takes 10 days to get the results.( depends on hospital)
GOD that is such an awful wait I really feel for your Dad and the family.
Take a day at a time and keep Dad in company if you can.
The worst thing for me waas the waitng and being alone to think up all sorts of awful outcomes.
Dont lok up what might have to hapen I did that and I felt worse knowing what they have to do.
I presume your dad is not on the computer so dont say anything.
Please let us know how you get on with your Dad.

We are here ALL of us to help if we can.

I am sure Dr Joshie will be online soon to give is EXPERT opinion Wink

Hello Jeff

The biopsy will confirm the nature of the lesion in the throat. It may or may not be cancer. Only the biopsy can determine what the 'spot' is. So take a day at a time and await the results - the results shouldn't take too long (7-10 days is about right). The doctors will advise accordingly then. Let us know how it works out and we will help where we can.

Meanwhile, use the opportunity to spend some time with your Dad - walks, cards, reminesce with old photographs, etc.

Best wishes
Vinod :coffee:
