some of you may remember i was supposed to have an op dec 1st to see if the cancer had returned, after turning myself into knots this past fortnight worrying about it,i got a phone call late friday to say that due to an emergency they would have to cancel my op.she had rang a lot of other patients who were due for an op the same day as me but no one was in so i was the unlucky one.my daughter rang them and said that we were all worried and it is important to us that the op be done soon and they have promised to ring this week with a date for me.i still ended up at the hospital today because my dear old dad who is 82 had a mild heart attack over the weekend so i went to see him,he is doing fine thank goodness.i did have some good news though last week, the mrsa that has been in my peg for the last year has gone away hooray for that. take care all love shirl xxx

How frustrating for you Shirl. I hope you're able to get in and get your surgery soon. I'll have everything crossed for you.
Also hope your Dad is on the mend. They are a worry, aren't they? My Dad will be 88 this month and he just amazes me every day. He lives independently in his own home, does his garden, his own shopping, cooking and washing. I think he does more houseword than I do!
Keep your spirits up. Great that your mrsa has gone ~ better to be without that when you have your op.
Take care
Deborah

Hi Shirl. that is frustrating. I hope you get a new date soon but in the meantime, at least the MRSA is gone. Hagg.
