Today i had a REALLY hairy akita in.. & by the time i'd finnished my salon looked like some hair massacre had just taken place!
Being in a mews we're all close and friendly. I pointed out all the hair to the bald guy from the shoe stall- who remarked "Yeah, it reminds me of what my pillow looked like a few years ago"... I giggled and said "ha hahaaa me too" *pointing at my edward scissor hands do*!!!! (meaning chemo) His poor face dropped and he didnt know what to do bless him! *lmao* Everyone is used to my sick cancer jokes now - accept him it seems. Must remember it's not always aproprate!!

Don't. Our pharmacy have been good on the whole but locums have left me at times in desperate measures so have always tried to stay on the right side of them with the usual Angie laugh and joke. Went in to collect Bill's Difflam which is the only prescription he is on at present, they asked is there anything else, we ordered some oramorph in anticipation and I said, 'no, it's a bugger isn't it, I have just dusted the insurance policy and had to put back in the drawer' the two assistance jaws dropped and both looked aghast. Nooow!! I daren't go in again.

Hi! Michelle & Angie,
Peoples sense of humour can be as funny as the joker. I have been asked on many ocasions "how the hell did you lose so much weight" and when you tell them "it's the big "C" those does it" they tend to cring and apologise for their slip up, so it just passes. However the other day this caracter called me "skinny" and when I told him why and how I lost weight he asked where can he get some for him and his missus. So I said "Theres a clinic in the RAH thatis getting rid of it from those that don't want it, go ask them". That broke him up.
So girls keep up the humour as that is what makes people smile and there is sure not enough of that around.
Good on yuh
Love TREV
