Juat thought you all may like to know that I saw 7 people and went to two hospitals prior to finding out what the problem was; they all tried to fob me of with a Quinsey and laughed and said it was popular in the 18th century. However when I looked through my vanity mirror in my car in the middle of Birmingham, I said, please God' I hope it isn't cancer.There was a huge thing at the back of my throat , similar to what male camels hang out of their mouths. I could only eat ice cream and could hardly breath. I went back to ENT and a dwarf of a nurse sent me back down to A&E where I sat for 4 hours, when I got back up there the Dr said I want you in the scanner within 20 mins, and then it was all systems go. :banghead:

I hope god gives you strength through this hard time. I have been to 2 doctors and 2 ENTs and they have told me I dont have cancer. I think I want a biopsy done, beacuse I keep on hearing stories similar to yours which really scare me. I have two lumps in my mouth...and doctors say it is a cyst...they say since I am 20 and do not smoke they dont think I have cancer...I hope they are right.

Priya, Tell those DOCTORS that you are not paying them for what they THINK. You are paying them to find out what it is on your tonsils. Not what they THINK THEY KNOW. To say they THINK it isn't cancer because you don't smoke and you are young is BULL ---you know what....That is just plain ignorant to say. Or to think. CANCER knows no age. Cancer doesn't care if you smoke or you don't. If you drink or don't drink. CANCER is going to take over anyone's body it wants too. SO if I were you I would find one more DOCTOR maybe this one will run the test that can give you some peace of mind....ALWAYS,,,Vicki

Well I hope that your problem is a mild one, but do insist to know what the problem is.
I pray that is is just something banal. Keep in touch and let us know what the outcome is and try very hard not to worry, as worrying never help anyone.Good Luck
