Hi all,

Whilst I find this site without doubt the best site on the site for people and family's going through the hell of Mouth, throat and neck cancer I've never actally sat and talked over experiences of others, I no it may sound stupid but how different is my face after 3 operations, do I talk okay? I no my family and friends say I'm fine but hen they would.

I live in Poole, Dorset, if anyone get't the chance (I also don't drive because I'm registered blind, although have some useable vision) and they fancy a coffee, beer or just a get together please let me know.

thanks again.

Tony

Hi Tony

What a wonderful part of the world you live in! I was born and bred near Bournemouth. I'm now in Bristol and miss it a lot - especially in the summer! Still, I'm not too far away and I do pop down every now and then to see my parents who are still there.

As for sharing stories, there are lots on the website for you to read. I hope you have found them and have already found them useful. Chatting to people on here will help you a lot, I'm sure.

I don't have Oral cancer myself, but my husband sadly passed away, agee 34, in December 2004 after an 11 month battle against tongue cancer.

Cancer stinks and wrecks lives, but hopefully you might have found a 'home' on this site.

Kind regards

spouse
