Hi Vinod Rob had had the denture all the years i knew him(15 years)and the ulcer was directly below the single tooth on the plate. My question was 1)why didnt he ask rob how long he had the ulcer on the first visit(answer 4-6 weeks) 2)why didnt he ask if rob smoked or drank and how much,(putting him in the high risk category) 3)why didnt he give Robin a follow up appointment after the May visit to check how the was doing 4)why did this result rest on his good character, when for two years he lied about robs ulcer being healed when he saw him in october(and admitted this on the morning the hearing started causing a three hour delay in the court.)surely truthfullness is a basic requirement of any professional!! Lastly he has worked for some years in the Max Fax unit at St Georges Hospital at Tooting supposedly dealing with many Oral cancer patients,so why does he need retraining to recognise something he apparently works with on a weekly basis. thanks for your observations,The prosecution have raised all these questions with the GDC,but we have had no feed back as yet. regards liz Love liz Never take your eye off the ball it may just smack you in the mouth | ||||
