I was afraid of checking and learning that what I felt was true. He gave me strength and I must keep it in his honor. Thank you Mimi for informing me.

Sonya,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Please let your family know that Ananth gave me so much strength from many miles away when my brother suffered with his cancer. He was one that I could always count on to lift my spirits whether it was with deep conversations that made me think, with a joke and with the wonderful stories he shared about your sons, mother in law and you. I will never forget the story he told when he placed wine in his tube without knowing and could not figure out why he felt so wierd. That day I shared the story with my brother and we both laughed. He will be missed by many. I will treasure his words and keep them with me always.

Hi Sonya, I haven't been on the forum for a while and only read the news tonight. I'm really sorry to hear about Ananth but I'm glad he is at peace now. He was an inspiration to a lot of people, and he certainly made me laugh with some of his jokes and stories. RIP but never forgotten.

13 years and still kicking it. Never give up your fight.

Hello Sonya
I only visit the forum from time to time these days but in 2007 when I was very ill, Ananth and I would be in touch every day. He inspired me, encouraged me and just as important at such a grim time, he cheered me up.
I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was a good man and at peace now. My sympathies go to your family.
Love and regards
James
