Hi Hagg,

Good to hear from you, nearly at the 12 year mark! As a 1 year survivor, it gives me great hope for the future.

Best wishes

A great milestone and a great bloke to boot. Congratulations Hagg, you're an inspiration and it's great that you drop in from time to time because your tag alone gives hope to anyone travelling the cancer express.
Here's to a very long and healthy future for you and yours.
Cheers
Deborah

Hi Hagg,
Great to hear from a 12 year survivor! I'm a 1 year survivor and I have to say this site has helped me so much. It feels like we're all part of a great big family! It's so great to hear peoples' experiences, both good and bad. I love Deborah's description of us 'travelling the cancer express'! That is so very apt!
Good luck and best wishes to you all.

Hi Dian, I rekon this forum is the b*****ks. I agree with you. I didn't have a pc when I was diagnosed so had to rely on info from the hospital. It would have been really good to be able to read up on things and ask fellow sufferers questions. Keep on fighting, Hagg.

What a difference very very nearly 12 years makes! Both of my parents died of cancer and if they (and I) had cancer message boards to join I'm sure the entire experience would have been totally different for all of us. You managed, my gorgeous tattooed buddy, and I salute your tenacity, huge heart and concern for the rest of us that brings you back here to let us know that just maybe we can be survivors too. I can only imagine that you're a wee bit (as Bell would say) of a handful and I admire the relationship that you and your wife have. Bless that woman!

These past few weeks have been rough here with the passing of Trev and now Paul, guys and their loves that we know so well and rooted for to no avail.

It's people like you and Liz and Dr. J that remain faithful and who keep the rest of us going. Thanks for that! Every so often someone unfamiliar to me checks in (Derek in France, for example) and I live for those posts.

This all reminds me - I'm now a 4-1/2 year breast cancer survivor and I better go back to the message board that sustained me through that crisis to let the newbies know that their recent diagnosis isn't the end of the world.

Thanks, Haag! Hope we're all around to celebrate the next big anniversaries: 13th, 15th, 20th, et al..

Hi Mimi, yeah things haven't been good on here recently, what with Trev and now Paul. RIP guys.

4 and a half years makes you a serious ass kicker too so here's to your next anniversary and the next and the next. I hope everyone who's suffering at the moment makes it through, even though I'm sure more good peole will fall victim.

I've always been a bit of a 'handful', I'm surprised Haze can put up with me but it's a good job she can. I'd be knackered if she didn't.

Hagg.
