Hello Anne It should improve appearance and function. It will never be as good as your own teeth but should be an improvement on the present situation. It will feel strange initially, then you will learn how to use it to eat and talk with. If it chaffes or hurts, your dentist should be seeing you regularly to ease it until you are comfortable. Do let us know how you get on. By the way, can you let me know which teeth and part of upper jaw were were lost? Anne, Just wanted to send my well-wishes as you have the prosthesis fitted tomorrow. I hope all goes well and you will see big improvements in a very short period of time. Will send up a special prayer on your behalf in the morning From my heart, Melanie | ||||
