Just to let you all know I have set up an online blog to keep people updated on how my treatment is going. I have also written back to 2003 when I was first diagnosed so people can read up on my history with cancer.
The address is: http://clare-diary.blogspot.com/ I had my first session of radiotherapy today which went ok. Love to you all. |

Clare,
I am sorry to read of your recent news. It's not as if you haven't been through enough already in your young life and now this! It's enough to make me weep. You now have more to contend with - life's not fair. You seem to have great family and friends supporting you - that's great. I had my surgery - tonsilectomy and radical neck dissection done at the LRI. You must have had your recovery in Kinmonth Suite. You did well only staying 10 days after such major surgery. Did Mr.Avery carry out your surgery - I hear such nice things about him. A Mr.Moir (great guy) performed mine. Some of the nursing staff in Kinmonth were so kind. One question - if you don't mind - You mentioned a pea sized lump in your neck last dec. Do you still have it? What did your consultant think? Be strong - so many people off the site care for you and your wellbeing.Your blogspot is rather good. Look after yourself - Tony K |
