hello friends i am back at home again in the fold of my loving family after 2 weeks in hospital . firstly thank you for all your messages of good wishes and love i realy could feel the strength of all your support. now where do i begin OMG it has been one nightmare of a journey the first two days i was in intensive care out cold oblivious!THEN TRANSFERED TO HIGH DEPENDANCY FOR 5 days then side room for a week i am try ing to keep the past a blurred memory i can only thank the consultant doctors and nurses for all their care and expertise they were superp. the op itself was pretty horrendous to say the least but iwould not be graphic as to frighten any other person awaiting this operation the trachy and the naso gastric tube being one of the worst parts but i am well on the road to recovery now and i can only thank god and my family who have been so supportive of all this speak soon bevxxx

thanks for all your good wishes . today i had some good news from consultant he says that there was no spread to my lymph nodes he took out 32 nodes so fortunatly i will not requre radium i am just waiting for a jaw bone report to come back i feel so relieved i can get on with getting better and stronger each day. the pain is still quite intense and appetite not so good i am on texture c diet does anyone have any recipies cant bear anymore ensure drinks but still better than having an ng tube .best wishes to all my friends on this wonderful forum bevxxxxx
