Feeling rather deflated today, went for my mould appointment yesterday, after being shown what was going to happen I was asked if I wanted to ask anything, well for the last two weeks I have been worried about the other lump which has now appeared on the other side of my neck, so I asked if they could scan or x-ray it for my own peace of mind as I would hate to go through 6wks radiotherapy only to find further down the line I need it on the other side. The radiotherapist examined me then called my surgeon who decided he wanted to remove it as soon as possible. So surgery takes place on 5th Jan and radiotherapy is now put back a week or two until the biopsy results are in. Then they will decide if both sides have to be treated. I am now wondering when is it going to stop, Is this my fault because I have delayed treatment, has it spread? this will be my 3rd surgery in 6months. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE TRACEY

Tracy, Sounds like you've been very conscientious about treatment, and even more on the ball than your doctors. I don't think what you're dealing with is anyone's fault. Have a good Christmas and keep us posted on the results of your surgery in January. Ron

Thanks Ron I must get into christmas spirit for the children, but have so much on my mind it is hard to switch that off. But hey, I am having dinner made for me tomorrow, so guess I will just sit back and be pampered. Merry Christmas and I will keep you all posted. Tracey
