This Saturday i went to see Girls Aloud live at Wembley Arena.
It was FANTASTIC! A month ago there's no way i could have done that! It was a christmas prezzie from a friend of mine. & at one point i thought i'd have to give it away as i didn't think i'd be well enough. But i had the best time! Ok - i had a job managing the stairs with my numb feet. & my friends had to carry my drinks for me cuz otherwise we'd have all been wearing it! My tinnitus has been doubled but i'm sure it'll wear off! It was another example of getting my life back! & i feel on top of the world! So it's a bit of hope to those of you that are struggling with treatment & its side effects still!

All the best to you all...
Michelle

You get out there and go wherever you want and do whatever you want to do, as they say "You go Girl"!!!!!
You deserve it,

Chelle, Great news and the way you are tackling the C is a tribute to you.
I find if booked in advance I start to think can I do what do I do If?
But if I do it on the spur of the moment I go.
Been trying to get away for sometime but what stops me is my speech and having to eat in restaurants alone with a Teaspoon and nobody there IF I need help and when I ma in a stressful situation find difficult to get my words out.
If anyone has sugestions I would appreciate that.

Well Chelle I am so proud of your achievent and hope its a memry for you to remember when things are not that good.

Cheers

Paul

Hey guys,

Dave, don't give in yet! i'm sure you'll be fine to fly by december. & you'll need the holiday by then. I'm sure you'll look back and be glad you didn't cancel!

Paul, Why don't you try "practising" locally. Eating in a cafe close to home or something so if it gets too much you could do a runner?

Chelle
Sounds like a good time - well done

David
I went for 2 weeks in Cyprus in April, 5 months after the end of 6 weeks of R/T. Flight (although only 4 hours) was no problem. Hope this helps...
